Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit and debit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Lasercard). We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

An email ("confirmation of an order") will be sent to you. It indicates that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.

ACCEPTANCE: By completing your order you fully acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

STATUTORY RIGHTS: Acceptance of these terms and conditions does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

PRODUCTS: All medical devices (including condoms) sold on this website carry the European CE mark and have a long shelf-life remaining. Condom budget and bulk packs sold by us contain a single manufacturer's product leaflet. It is the customer's full responsibility to keep the provided leaflet in a safe place, and to carefully study and follow the instructions outlined in the leaflet prior to every use of any condoms supplied by us.

CURRENCY: All transactions arising from this website are carried out in Euros.

ORDER VALUE (EXCLUDING P&P): We have minimum order value of €1.00 and a maximum order value of €500.00. Please contact us at sales@smartpaddy.ie if you would like to place an order in excess of this value.

PAYMENT: By ordering from this website you are offering to enter into an agreement to purchase from us, and undertaking that payment will be made to us by the bank or other administrator of your payment card. In the event that payment is revoked after dispatch of the goods, we will take the necessary steps to recover payment from you.

PURCHASE OF DUREX BULK PACKS: Durex restricts the sale of bulk packs to healthcare institutions, clinics, agencies and healthcare professionals. By placing an order with us for any Durex bulk products, you confirm to us that you intend to use the condoms in these or equivalent environments. Non-commercial use only. Not for resale! Note that other condom manufacturers do not impose any such restrictions on bulk packs. If in doubt, consider Billy Boy, Vitalis, Trojan, Condomi or Mates condom bulk packs.
Shipping And Handling
All products are shipped by An Post mail in unmarked padded envelopes.

We post our products to Ireland and many other EU and non-EU countries. During the checkout stage you will be given the following postage options:

An Post First Class Mail (Ireland) - Not insured
Within Ireland (32 counties), a flat post and packaging rate of €2.50 will be applied.

Registered Mail (Ireland, 32 counties) - Fully insured up to the maximum order value
A flat post and packaging charge rate of €4.90 will be applied. Loss or damage resulting from An Post's delivery service is extremely rare. However, we do recommend insured delivery.

Priority Post (UK) - Not insured
A flat post and packaging rate of €4.90 will be applied.

Registered Mail (UK) - Fully insured up to the maximum order value
A flat post and packaging charge rate of €7.90 will be applied.

Standard Postage (Other EU countries) - Not insured
A flat post and packaging rate of €4.90 will be applied.

Registered Mail (Other EU countries) - Fully insured up to the maximum order value
A flat post and packaging charge rate of €7.90 will be applied.

Where a post & packaging charge applies it is clearly displayed during the checkout phase. During this stage you will have the opportunity to cancel you order if so desired.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS: For ultimate discretion your order will be sent out to you clearly labeled and securely packed in plain packaging (padded envelopes, or - for larger orders - cardboard boxes). Loss or damage of goods in transit is highly unusual. If you opt for uninsured delivery, you will carry the risk of loss or damage. Please immediately report damages to your local postal delivery, and to us. DO NOT USE DAMAGED GOODS! If you selected an insured postage option, please return the damaged delivery (including packaging and goods) to us after reporting it to your local postal delivery.

DELIVERY ADDRESS: The delivery address you enter during the checkout phase is exactly what will appear on the package.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS: Ownership of goods is transferred to you when we receive a certificate of posting from An Post.
Delivery Schedule
Our aim is to keep all listed items in stock. Goods will only be dispatched subject to payment clearance. Typically same-day shipping will be applied to orders received by 2pm (provided that it is an An Post working day). All others orders will usually be shipped on the next An Post working day.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
All prices include VAT. The current standard rate of VAT in the Republic of Ireland is 21%. The reduced VAT rate in the Republic of Ireland is 13.5% (applicable to condoms). Both rates are subject to changes external to our control.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We reserve the right to refuse orders where we consider that the transaction may be fraudulent, or when credit card authorisation is refused.

CUSTOMER DETAILS: You must be over 18 years of age and an authorised credit card or debit card user to purchase from this website. We reserve the right to refuse orders when we consider that these conditions have not been met.
Guarantee
All products supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We honor all relevant legislation in respect of our responsibility for goods supplied to you.

LIABILITY: In any transaction, the extent of our liability to you is limited to the refund of the purchase price of the goods concerned.

DISPUTES: Any dispute arising out of sales through this website will be governed by Irish law, or UK law (for customers residing in UK), and the parties will submit to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You have a right to cancel the contract. In order to do this you must inform us within 7 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been sent to you at the time of cancellation, you should return them to us at your own cost.

Provided that the goods are returned unopened and in original condition we will return your payment within 28 days.

Whenever you return goods to us, it is mandatory to mail them by registered post. The order number (as specified in the order confirmation email / order invoice) must be provided as a reference.
